Joy

In Poetry on November 21, 2012 at 5:47 pm

Happiness is what most see

All too often it’s what some wanted it to be.

Some see material things as what life brings

Some see what life’s value is as not being the same.

A new home will make some happy, a large yard and all of its plantares.

A new car is what some desire, with all of its interiors and its exteriors.

A job is what some want.

If I could just make a certain amount of money,

All my hopes and dreams will be in the wings.

Some say children will fill the void in my life

All the things that I didn’t have I will sacrifice.

Others say joy is what lies beneath.

Deep within the inner walls of soul where nothing is tangible, one cannot hold.

Others say joy is an invisible fold that holds all wonders of ones needs and desires

And from that place one is satisfied

Within their own individual soul.
